The ICC sets the venue for the 13th Cricket World Cup entirely in India. The country will host the Cricket World Cup 2023. But, it’s not the first time that Indians get to host the international cricket competition. They partially hosted three past editions in 1987, 1996 and 2011 respectively.
The tournament will feature ten teams as with the previous editions. To qualify, the teams must compete in the super league from May 2020 until March 2022. The council takes to the competition the top seven teams in this league. Together with the host country, they automatically qualify for the Cricket World Cup 2023.
